Failure To Success

Failure To Success

One thing that has always inspired me is seeing people overcome failures and also people who overcame failure in front everyone else. Today I wanted to gather a list of successful people who publicly failed and some embarrassed themselves on live TV but overcame it all.

  1. The Rock The Rock always wanted to be a football player in the NFL. He dreamed of getting drafted and buying his parents a house and when that didn’t happen he decided to play for the Canadian football league in hoping a NFL team will see him and sign him to a contract. Shortly after arriving in Canada, he was cut and his dreams were shattered and that’s when he decided to train for the WWE and he is now one of the most successful actors in Hollywood.
I talk about this one all the time because I love and it reminds me that sometimes not getting what you want could be the best thing to ever happen to you
  2. Tom Landry Tom Landry was coach in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and is a Hall of Fame Coach but it didn’t start that way in fact far from it. His first year as head coach which was also the Dallas Cowboys first year, they went 0-11-1 which means 0 wins, 11 loses, and 1 tie. It took him 6 years to get the Cowboys in the playoffs. In the end Tom Landry took the Cowboys to the playoffs 18 times and Coached them to 2 Superbowl wins
  3. Lisa Kudrow Lisa Kudrow who everyone knows as the crazy but loveable Pheobe Buffay from Friends but did you know she was originally casted as Roz Doyle in Fraiser? She started filming the Pilot in that show but the Producers thought she wasn’t right for the part and lacked chemistry with the rest of the cast members so they fired her. Of course things ended working out for her as she was casted as Pheobe a few months later
  4. Lady Gaga Lady Gaga is one of the top selling singers in the world and in 2006 she originally was signed by Def Jam Records and of course she thought she finally made it and go her big break but unfortunately a couple months later LA Reid one of the Execs at the time wasn’t satisfied with her demo and released her. LA Reid now calls this decision the worst thing he has ever done in his career
  5. The Miz The Miz real name Mike Mizanin, he was on the MTV Reality Show The Real World on that show he a persona he named The Miz where he would say that he was going to be WWE Champion one day and that was no joke, his dream was to wrestle for the WWE. He finally got his opportunity to be on WWE Television and when he did, he actually messed it up on live TV. Lucky for him the WWE gave him another shot and he took full advantage over it. He has been with the WWE since 2006 and has been WWE Champion twice.
