Everyone Has Luck

Today we’re going to talk to you all about luck. There is this misperception that in order to be successful, you have to be lucky. And anybody who is successful or became a millionaire or successful in what they do, they were just really lucky. While, in a way, they may be right because they had to be presented the right opportunities and they had to take advantage of the opportunities.

I feel that every single person is presented with those opportunities it’s just what separates the successful ones to the unsuccessful ones are the ones who are complaining or is simply just taking advantage of those opportunities. Here’s the deal those opportunities can be presented in various ways. It can be presented in meeting up with a friend, it could be presented in going to a party. It could be presented in a gut feeling like what do you feel in your gut. It could be presented in an idea. You have a great idea, but a lot of people tend to not act upon that idea. And that could be the opportunity given to you when you’re first born, or given to you right then, given to you by the universe, you know, so that is part of the opportunity, I think, that we’re given.

We all have dreams, we all ask for things. When we ask for things, it’s not just given to us. Whatever we ask for. It’s given to us in terms and forms of opportunity. So we have to really keep our eyes out for these opportunities. And also, trust our gut because I think that’s the Universe or that’s God telling us like trying to steering us in the right direction on what to do. So when you see those opportunities, it’s just this gut feeling that you feel that you should be doing that or you should be acting upon an idea or whatever it happens to be, are going to that dinner or going to that party. It’s just this gut feeling that you have in yourself. So you definitely want to keep your eyes out for those opportunities, because that is what in my opinion is a form of luck. And when you seized those opportunities and you take action upon it, then in a way you create your own luck and also in forms of creating your own luck.

There’s another quote I think was Thomas Edison, if I remember correctly, where he says, “The harder I work, the luckier I get.” That is also true. You can also create your own luck, and that is also a different form of opportunity as well as I feel. Because when you work hard, you create your own luck, your create own opportunity, instead of just waiting for that opportunity to come to you. And sometimes that’s how successful people work and sometimes they are presented various opportunities and they take advantage of it. Whatever happens to be.
